Assignment in Indochina with Gary Knight, VII
From November 17th to 24th, 15 photographers on the workshop will work an assignment before projecting their final work on the 24th, one of the highlights of the festival. Siem Reap, where the workshop is based, offers a great variety of subjects to photograph from the aesthetic beauty of the ancient temples to a broad spectrum of social and environmental issues.
The workshop will include a night spent in a traditional stilted wooden house in a Khmer Village in the heart of the temple complex. During the middle of the day when not photographing, there will be time to discuss photography, edit your assignment and relax around the pool.
There will be projections during some of the evenings, which will include presentations by invited photographers.
The Foreign Correspondents Club of Cambodia is the workshop base. This is an intimate and stylish hotel, perfectly placed for easy access around the town of Seem Reap, and only a few kilometres from the temple complex of Angkor.
